It is a surgery to lift the lateral brow with the wound at the upper edge of a brow for a person who has a lateral brow ptosis causing a lateral hooding. If a double eyelid surgery is performed in the person having a severe lateral brow ptosis, the eyelid fold and brow will be too close and there will still be excess eyelid at the lateral canthus.
