Upper Blepharoplasty

It is a double eyelid surgery combined with an excess eyelid removal and a permanent suture of the crease. This method can greatly remove excess eyelid to correct blepharoptosis, lateral hooding and provide natural-looking double eyelid. The swelling takes longer time to heal compared with Mini-blepharoplasty.

Full-incision double eyelid surgery is suitable for everyone especially those who have excess eyelid, blepharoptosis, lateral hooding and plump eyelids or blepharoplasty correction. This technique can adjust the fat and vary the shape of double eyelid crease extensively.

Full-incision double eyelid surgery begins with the anesthetic injection into the upper eyelid. Then, the laser will be applied to help cutting open the wound and stop the bleeding. Remove the excess eyelid and fat. A very small surgical thread will be used to suture the eyelid folds after slightly curling the lash line and then stitch up the wound.

The doctor will determine the appropriate shape and size of double eyelid. The wound will be as long as the eyelid fold and the amount of excess eyelid at the lateral canthus.
